Program Partners

The North Carolina Association for Biomedical Research (NCABR) is a nonprofit science education organization whose mission is to provide support for and promote public understanding of bioscience research. 

NCABR supports PERSIST by enlisting local scientists to provide guest lectures and by participating in the development of participants’ professional networks, as well as identifying bioscience education and career resources participants may want to access.

ChickTech is a national organization dedicated to retaining women in the technology workforce and increasing the number of women and girls pursuing technology-based careers, by facilitating hands-on technology-centric events to empower, support, and increase their confidence. 

ChickTech supports PERSIST by assisting with participant recruitment and providing access to academic year workshops for participants.
